|
|
|
The Community IPM Education Initiative supports teachers and students with curriculum tools and resources that enrich the quality and quantity of inquiry-based science in the K-12 classroom. The Initiative is managed and developed by a professional scientist and educator backed by more than 20 years of IPM knowledge and expertise contributed by 25 NYS IPM staff members. It is affiliated with Cornell University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and Cornell Cooperative Extension, and draws upon the larger community of scientists and educators to assure curricula of the highest quality and currency. Our broadest goal: to raise community awareness of pest management as a crucial environmental and human health issue—and so reduce the risks associated with pests and pest management practices. |
