A Method to Measure the Environmental Impact of Pesticides

The Environmental Impact Quotient (EIQ) is a formula used to help provide growers data regarding the environmental and health impacts of their pesticide options so they can make informed decisions regarding their pesticide selection.

The EIQ is maintained by Brian Eshenaur with the NYS IPM program at Cornell University.  He is answering questions and calculating EIQ values for new pesticides.  Contact Brian with your questions and comments here: bce1@cornell.edu
