Professional Activities

Responsibilities

  • Develop educational programs and resources for the implementation of IPM in field crops and livestock in western New York State

  • Provide leadership for off-campus extension educators as they develop, implement, and evaluate field crops and livestock IPM education programs in western New York State

  • Conduct applied research to develop IPM strategies in field crops and livestock in western New York State in collaboration with Cornell University faculty and Cornell Cooperative Extension educators

Current/Ongoing Projects

  • Development of wheat disease, insect, and weed teaching modules for use in TAg teams

  • Establishment of a field crops and livestock advisory team comprised of Cornell Cooperative Extension educators from western New York State

  • Development of a statewide pest management program plan with the field crops and livestock IPM team
