PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

Responsibilities

  • Assist Hudson Valley Cornell Cooperative Extension educators in the development, design, conduct, and reporting of Ornamental or Community IPM projects funded through the NYS IPM Program.

  • Act as technical resource for other Ornamental and Community IPM extension activities in the Hudson Valley.

Current/Ongoing Projects

  • Biological Control of Western Flower Thrips in Bedding Plant Production.

  • Developing an IPM Program for Christmas Tree Growers.

  • Assessment of Weeds and Weed Management Practices on Athletic Fields.

Accomplishments (Past Three Years)

  • Co-Principal investigator on 12 grant-funded projects.

  • Collaborator on 7 grant-funded projects.

  • Over 25 presentations/workshops given to over 1200 attendees.
